HOW IT WORKS
We release in limited collector capsules. Ponytails are dropped every Monday at 5 PM EST. Each pony is one of one never restocked.
You purchase the entire ponytail, which becomes a working archive for your inventory. One ponytail typically serves two to three installs, depending on length, density, and finish.
Stock a range of textures and tones so you can convert clients in the room. Invite them to see and touch the hair. Match texture, color, and length in real time. Allow your clients to feel the quality and watch you build a blend on the spot.
Use mixing and blending to create believable dimension. Combine textures because natural hair is rarely uniform. Layer shades to add depth and interest, and when appropriate, achieve it without chemical color.
It’s very straightforward: Select a ponytail based on the specs you are looking for, some are bonded into strips, individuals, or are bulk. All of our pony’s are bonded by hand in haus!
Keeping a small, curated selection on hand allows you to consult and install in a single visit. It turns conversations into commitments and removes delay.

Hand-Bonded In-House
Every bond is crafted by hand, not by machine.
Our strip-style keratin bonds are wide, short, and evenly saturated to fully wrap and protect the client’s natural strand. This creates small, seamless, comfortable bonds made for long wear — no excessive manipulation required. Because each strip is custom-cut to match your client’s exact section size, weight distribution stays balanced and natural. Whether virgin, colored, or blended, all of our ponytails retain their true, natural texture.
Hair can be washed, heat-styled, and treated just like real hair should be.
Coloring is safe on all hair, but only virgin ponytails should be lightened for the most consistent results.

Factory Hair (What We Don’t Offer)
Factory-made extensions are mass-produced and pre-bonded by machine, typically weighing 0.8–1.0 grams per strand — far too heavy for one natural hair section unless the stylist cuts and reshapes the bonds.
Machine-made keratin tips are long and narrow. Once cut smaller, they don’t contain enough keratin to fully seal the client’s hair, which leads to slipping, poor tension control, and fragile attachments.
Factory bundles often include:
• Mixed donor hair collected from multiple sources
• Fallen or swept hair
• Hair that has been acid-washed, stripping the cuticle
• Heavy silicone coatings to make it feel smooth at first (until it washes off)
This type of hair lacks natural movement and texture variation. Strands are packed tightly, causing stiff clusters, visible separation, and an unnatural “stringy” or “noodle-like” appearance once installed.
EXTENSION METHODS
K = TIPS
At DOLLEDBYMAIMAI, we specialize in K-Tip extensions—the most luxurious option for a seamless, natural-looking transformation. Whether you’re seeking length, fullness, or a complete makeover, K-Tips deliver unmatched movement and durability.
K-Tips are individual strands bonded to your natural hair using a heat-activated keratin tip. Installed strand by strand, they look and feel like your own hair while keeping your natural hair protected and lightweight.
Longevity: 3–5 months depending on hair growth, lifestyle, and proper care.
Maintenance: No in-between move-ups required. A full removal and reinstall is needed once the bonds grow out.
